As a member of 2622 Highland Squadron, you’ll be part of a team. You’ll wear the same uniform and perform the same role as your regular counterpart.

The first thing you need to do is to contact us. Call us on 01343 810 776 for an informal chat, we will then send you out an Information Pack. Alternatively you can apply online at the RAF Reserves web site.

Once you’ve been in touch, you’ll be invited along to the squadron for an information day. This is a chance for you to visit the squadron and ask any questions you may have. You'll also see what 2622 Highland Squadron is all about and find and if it’s for you.

Selection Test – The aptitude tests you’ll take as part of the RAF Reserves selection process are known as the Airman Selection Test (AST). The purpose of the AST is to find out if the trade of Regiment Gunner is for you.

Interview – The interview is another opportunity for you and us to confirm that joining 2622 Highland Squadron is the right step for you.
