ACT (Annual Continuous Training) Camp

Each year the Squadron conducts a 2-week Annual Continuous Training camp (ACT). The ACT can be in the UK or abroad, previous ACT camps have been held in Germany, Cyprus, and the USA. ACT camp is part of the annual commitment for all Reserves and is mandatory in order to qualify for the tax-free bounty.

ACT allows squadron personnel to enhance their military skills with a concentrated period of training. This allows the squadron to develop skills in OBUA (Operations in Built Up Areas), Helicopter movements, Advanced weapons (live field firing fire ranges, grenades, UGL, and GPMG), Boat drills/Amphibious warfare (Cyprus), and much more.

It's not all work during ACT, there are oppotunities to chill out and relax and have a few beers with your mates.
